
![]() | Founded as Dome Engraving by Byron Dome in 1914, the company was originally a trade house supplying engravings for local printers and newspapers. After one change in ownership in 1946, Ray Poole and his wife, Arlene, bought the company in 1969. Recognizing the potential in commercial lithography, the company shifted its focus from engraving to offset and, in 1972, became Dome Printing.Fast forward nearly 30 years. Owner Ray Poole is joined by his sons – Tim Poole as President with Andy and Robert Poole also working alongside in management. With sales volume for the year 2000 predicted at more than $25 million, it is clear that the Dome legacy of success continues.Printing is more than a business at Dome. It’s a way of life.
